Here's another reason. We have lost the capacity to produce knowledge.
In the entire Muslim World there are only 500 universities.
In USA alone, 5,758 universities
In India alone, 8,407 universities
In the Top 500 Ranking Universities of the World not a single uni from Muslim world
Literacy in the Christian World 90%
Literacy in the Muslim World 40%
15 Christian majority-countries, literacy rate 100%
None Muslim majority - countries, literacy rate 100%
98% in Christian countries completed primary
50% in Muslim countries completed primary.
Christian countries attended university 40%
Muslim countries attended university 2%
Muslim majority countries have 230 scientists per one million Muslims
The USA has 5000 per million
The Christian world 1000 technicians per million.
In the entire Muslim World there are only 50 technicians per million.
Muslim World spends on research/ development 0.2% of GDP
Christian World spends 5 % of GDP
The Muslim World lacks the capacity to produce knowledge.
Another way of testing the degree of knowledge is the degree of diffusing knowledge.
Pakistan: 23 people buy daily newspapers per 1000 citizens
Singapore: 460 people buy daily newspapers per 1000 citizens.
In UK book titles per million is 2000
In Egypt book titles per million is only 17
Conclusion.
Muslim World is failing to diffuse knowledge
Applying Knowledge is another such test.
Exports of high tech products from Pakistan are 0.9% of its exports.
In Saudi Arabia it is 0.2%
Kuwait, Morocco and Algeria 3 put together it is only 0.3%
Singapore alone is 68%
Conclusion.
Muslim World is failing to apply knowledge.
Advice:
Please educate your children and at least another child from the society who can’t afford to educate themselves. Always promote education, don't compromise on it, and don’t ignore your children's slightest misguidance from education.
And please, for God's Sake, don't use your personal contacts or sources to promote your children in their education; if they fail, let them and make them learn to pass; b/c if they can't do it now, they can't ever.
Muslims are World's biggest and strongest nation, all they need is to identify and explore their own-selves. Their victory is with their knowledge, their creativity, their Technological literacy...And nothing else.

1- When Baghdad was ransacked by halaku (hulego) khan, Muslims were
the only enlightened people in the world, all knowledge spread through
them but they lost to him and Hulego nearly wiped out the entire
islamic culture, WHY ?
2- When Al-Andulas was at its peak, the Jews used to study there and
produce phenomenal research works, the Sultan gave them all the
oppurtunities, money and other benefits and whatever they did along
with many more muslims helped muslims. Why did the Jews work for the
Sultan ... think about it wasn't it the policy of Sultan Abdur Raheem
that furthered the education?
3- Exactly how did the west progress ... was it through science and
technology or was it through realizing that Nations progress when they
are united under one cause, for the west that cause was the
destruction of Islam, The crusades are a proof for what i say.
4- Did Muslims progress under the Prophet and Sahaba through science
and technology, did the Prophet Ask the muslims to first make
universities produce Phds etc and then they will rule the world
5. Does the Qur'an in even one place says that Nations progress
because of Knowledge. infact Allah says whenever people leave the Haq
he replaces them, you can ask for more references if you think that i

produces leaders that can give vision to people and lead them is
necessary but that knowledge that gives vision is Qur'an, and Hadith

need leaders, for producing leaders one needs to follow the Haq ...
America is America because american believes in itself that its system
is number 1, so it works to tackle all the challenges. American Govt
employs tens and thousands of people to tackle pakistan, they make
plans for it, allocate budget to fulfil those plans, keep the military
ready to force its opinion on us .. How many think tanks working under
the govt, in Pakistan and the Muslim try to analyse the weaknesses of
America and work to exploit them ... hardly any, DO READ AND ASK
