Salam Upon you, and upon every Muslim.
I have objection on one of the quotes in Jawahar Rayzay; on quote no.8.
In my opinion “We should not fight for our country and for our nation (I mean nation with respect to geographical territory for example Pakistani or Indian). We should fight only for our religion Islam. In fact we are divided upon these unislamic basis. Are we told to fight for our country or nation by Allah? Muhammad (S.A.W) was asked “Who is shaheed? One who fights for his tribe, one who fight for other causes? He replied, the man who fights for the superiority of Islam and died/killed in this effort is the Shaheed.”
Dear brother, the boundaries of countires we see on the geographical maps are the lines drawn by the Non-Muslims to divide Muslims on these basis. A Muslim cannot fight with another Muslim, except in such defined cases. But if we start fighting on the basis of countries, an Indian Muslim will fight with Pakistani Muslim which is against the spirit of Islam. I remember some Muslims of American Army who faced court martial because they refused to fire on Muslims. I salute them, and Pray for them. These are the Jewels, which are rare now.
As far as right is concerned, we are allowed to struggle for that. But sometime, even for the right, we should not fight, and the patience is always an appreciated way.
