I think instead of resigning President Zardari should assume his role as the constitutional head of the state and the watchdog of the constitution of Pakistan and if he refuses to go for his constitutional role and keeps on muddling in the executive affairs of the state then an impeachment motion should be moved against him
In my humble opinion.. he should be shown the door. Asking for resign is a more respectable way, he does not deserve such kind of concessions

When Musharaf was in office, every one wanted o get rid of him. The bi-partisian deal b/w Zardari and Sharif(s) was supported by the Pakistani public in its totality. The whole bi-partisian thing didn't fully go through is a different issue.
As much as I personally dislike Zardai ... The harsh reality is that we have all put him in this office while we have no measures or matrics which reflect if Zardari is failing or coming true to the expectations.
